This is opinion, not fact

"These criticisms are in a sense relative. US made TPH handguns are still average or better quality handguns, and German made models and the best of the American models are highly reliable and smooth operating weapons."

As written, this middle section of the 'Controversy and issues' section is taking an opinionated stance and representing it as fact with regards to the quality of U.S.-made examples of the subject of this article.
